Gun Blasting

Gun blasting is the bombardment process applied on the steel with the help of sand and air pressure suitable for the structure of the gun blasting material. Depending on the desired thickness, the desired sand character is obtained by spraying the appropriate sand. Gun blasting is a process that should be done with care in good and clean facilities. Gun blasting should be done with the sand nozzle and air pressure adjusted according to the desired thickness. During gun blasting, the mouth parts of the steel must be protected and closed very well. Care should be taken not to break the mold mouths while the gun is being sandblasted. After the gun blasting process is finished, the molds must be cleaned very well.
